August Expenses... well most of them.

So, let's take a look at our recurring bills here in August . You might be asking, "where's your gas, groceries and other expenses listed at?".  I haven't factored those in yet because I am still new to budgeting. I'd like to see how we do with those for the month of August so I can plan for September. Then I should be able to plan and say we are budgeted X  amount for this. Also, this is my first time blogging and putting this all out there so I'm still learning the ropes. I'll have all that information up soon. No need to worry. Who am I? The usual question when reading someone's blog, right? You want to know who they are and what walk of life they are from, I get it. I'm a thirty-something, middle class Texan who is the main provider of income for our little nest. Our nest comprises of my wife  (referred to as "red head" from here on out)  and me. I work in the Public Safety sector and have been for about 12 years. As far as debt, we don't have too much. By that, I mean we don't have multiple lines of debt, just our student loans. We chip away at them slowly each month as I count down the years towards Public Service Loan Forgiveness. We're just trying to make our way in the world and save some money along the way. A quick note about that, the red head is the saver, I am the spender. However after getting caught up in reading many personal finance blogs I have decided to change my ways. You could say that I am a work in progress...
