Who am I?
The usual question when reading someone's blog, right? You want to know who they are and what walk of life they are from, I get it.
I'm a thirty-something, middle class Texan who is the main provider of income for our little nest. Our nest comprises of my wife (referred to as "red head" from here on out) and me. I work in the Public Safety sector and have been for about 12 years.
As far as debt, we don't have too much. By that, I mean we don't have multiple lines of debt, just our student loans. We chip away at them slowly each month as I count down the years towards Public Service Loan Forgiveness.
We're just trying to make our way in the world and save some money along the way. A quick note about that, the red head is the saver, I am the spender. However after getting caught up in reading many personal finance blogs I have decided to change my ways.
